Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Monivra LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), governing your use of the Monivra mobile application ("App").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. About Monivra

Monivra is a personal finance management app for tracking income and expenses, managing budgets, setting savings goals, monitoring subscriptions, and viewing financial insights. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 years old in the EEA) to use the App. The App is not designed for use by businesses, financial institutions, or commercial entities.

3. Your Account

3.1 Registration

You must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.

3.2 Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at privacy@monivra.app if you suspect unauthorized access. We log each login and logout event with IP address and approximate location for security purposes.

3.4 One Account Per Person

Each account is for individual use only. You may not share your account or create accounts on behalf of others.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal financial management purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the App
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful data
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or its features

5. Your Data

5.1 Ownership

All financial data you enter into the App belongs to you. We claim no ownership over your personal financial data.

5.2 License to Operate

By using the App, you grant Monivra LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your data solely to provide the App's features. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

5.3 Data Accuracy

The App relies on the data you enter. We are not responsible for financial decisions made based on information you have entered incorrectly.

5.4 Export and Deletion

You can export your data or delete your account at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. The App Is a Tool, Not Financial Advice

Monivra is a personal finance tracking tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

• Budgets, goals, and insights shown in the App are based solely on data you enter.
• Nothing in the App constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset.
• You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making significant financial decisions.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Property

The App, including its design, code, features, branding, name ("Monivra"), and logo, is owned by Monivra LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7.2 Feedback

If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant us the right to use that feedback without compensation or obligation to you.

8. Third-Party Services

The App uses Supabase (data storage), Expo (app framework), and ipwho.is (IP geolocation for session security). We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.

9. Availability and Updates

We aim to keep the App available and functional, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time and will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

10. Termination

10.1 By You

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account.

10.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon account deletion, all your data will be permanently deleted per our Privacy Policy. Sections 6, 7, 11, 12, and 13 survive termination.

11. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS. YOU USE THE APP AT YOUR OWN RISK.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MONIVRA LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 USD OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in New Jersey under AAA rules. EU/EEA consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time and will notify you of significant changes via the App or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Monivra LLC regarding the App.
